David Gilmour performed with Ben Watt at Islington Town Hall in London, following David's appearance
on Ben's album, Hendra. David appeared on the songs The Levels, Young Man's Game, and Spring.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, a deluxe box set of The Division Bell was released. It features six discs,
including three replica coloured or clear vinyl discs, 5 collectors' prints, a Blu-ray disc and available for the first
time, Andy Jackson's 5.1 audio mix of the album. The vinyl edition (in the box, and also available separately) saw the
first release of the full album on vinyl, as the 1994 vinyl release had edited versions of a number of the songs to
keep it to a single LP at that time. Lyrically, the blossoming songwriting partnership between David Gilmour and Polly
Samson came to the fore, with Polly sharing lyric credits on most of the album's songs.

Pink Floyd released The Endless River, an album put together principally from recordings in 1993/1994
for The Division Bell, along with additional material recorded in 2013/2014, and was a tribute to Richard Wright.
It was to be the most pre-ordered album of all time on Amazon UK, and the vinyl edition was the fastest-selling UK vinyl
release since 1997. All but one song Louder Than Words were instrumentals; the lyrics for
Louder Than Words were written by Polly Samson and were based on her first-hand observations of the band.
David Gilmour told The Guardian newspaper that the lyrics, to him, were "a way of describing the symbiosis that we have. Or had...".

David Gilmour joined Bombay Bicycle Club onstage at London's Earls Court to perform a couple of songs (Rinse Me Down,
and Wish You Were Here), in what was to be the venue's final concert before demolition.
