Pink Floyd performed at the 'Silver Clef Award Winners' charity show at Knebworth Park, Stevenage (where the band had last performed in 1975).
The band played seven tracks, including Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Parts 1-5, Sorrow and Comfortably Numb. Also on the bill:
Eric Clapton; Dire Straits; and Robert Plant with special guest Jimmy Page.

Roger Waters staged The Wall — Live In Berlin at Potzdamer Platz, Berlin. The concert was held as a fundraiser for the 'Memorial Fund For
Disaster Relief'. The Wall album was performed in its entirety with special guests including Bryan Adams, Marianne Faithful, Van Morrison, and Albert Finney.
