Pink Floyd began work on a new album at Britannia Row studios. Joined by bass guitarist Guy Pratt, recording sessions later took
place at David Gilmour's houseboat studio, Astoria. The sessions continued on and off until September 1993.

Pink Floyd made a one-off appearance at the 'Cowdray Ruins Concert' in Midhurst. The show was a charity fundraiser for the local King Edward VII hospital.
Pink Floyd were joined on the bill by members of Queen and Mike And The Mechanics. Pink Floyd's headline set comprised Run Like Hell, Wish You Were Here
and Comfortably Numb.
